We collect the minimum needed to style you
This policy covers the website styleandwearlab.net and the booking process for our styling services. It applies whether you contact us through the form, by email or by phone.
We operate under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and, for visitors from the EU or UK, the GDPR. If anything here is unclear, ask — privacy questions go to a real inbox, not a queue.

What we collect
Contact details you give us: name, email, phone number and suburb or postcode. Booking details: the service you want, preferred times and notes you choose to send.
Styling information you share during work: measurements, sizes, wardrobe photos and style preferences. We keep these because they're the job — a stylist who forgets your palette is useless.
What we do with it
Answer enquiries, run sessions, write your action plan and send the occasional follow-up. We don't run ad campaigns off client lists and we don't sell data to anyone.
Wardrobe photos taken during sessions stay on studio devices and are never published. The lookbook shots you see on this site are cropped or blurred by policy — see our /about/ page for how we handle client work publicly.
Who sees it
The three stylists who work here. Our booking and email providers process data on our behalf under their own agreements — we pick boring, reputable tools for exactly this reason.
We don't share client information with shops, hire services or third parties unless you ask us to (for example, putting a hire booking in your name).
Your rights and how to use them
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to fix it or ask us to delete it. Email styleandwearlab@gmail.com with the subject 'privacy request' and we'll action it within 30 days.
Australian residents can complain to the OAIC if unhappy with our response. EU and UK visitors have the same rights under GDPR — see the /legal/ page for the details.

Data we will never ask for
We don't collect payment card details — bookings are invoiced and paid by transfer or card on the day. We don't ask for health information beyond 'I can't wear heels because of my back'. And we never need your passwords to anything.
